A MindPilot® device consists of three parts:
· The manual input controller
· The central communications pack
· The visual interface visor
The Controller
The manual input controller enables MindPilot® users to interact with the system. The ergonomic
seven-button keyboard is designed for maximum response rate, while ensuring safe operation. Its
sturdy reinforced plastic construction makes the controller nearly indestructible. A backlit LCD
screen provides system diagnostic information. Available in
both left- and right-handed configurations.
The Communications Pack
The central communications pack houses most of the electronical systems of the MindPilot®, including
the processor, the battery, and the wireless network link. Despite its complicated internal mechanisms,
the communications pack is as indestructible as the controller. Its boron-ferrite battery allows for up
to nine days of continuous usage between recharges. The ULHF network transmitter can receive signals
almost anywhere - even in a tunnel!
The Visor
The visual interface visor is the main display of the system. It presents MindPeer™ problems
to the user, as well as system operation controls.
The visor is available in two models. Click on images for more information.
